At ScootAble, we recognize that divorce is more than a legal process. It is a significant life transition that can affect emotional well being, mental health, financial stability, family relationships, housing, and access to essential resources.

Yet the challenges associated with divorce do not always fit neatly within traditional categories of community assistance.

That's where ScootAble is working to make a difference.

As a newer emerging nonprofit, we are building a community centered approach to addressing the often overlooked challenges of divorce and separation through education, resource navigation, relationship building, and meaningful connections.

We are growing intentionally, learning from the communities we serve, and developing the partnerships and infrastructure needed to support long term impact.

Growing Through Community Trust

Our growth has been organic, relationship driven, and rooted in community engagement.

Rather than relying on paid marketing, ScootAble has invested in building relationships with nonprofit leaders, service providers, community organizations, and individuals who understand the needs of our communities.

These efforts are translating into increased awareness and new referral opportunities.

Our growing referral network includes connections through 211/United Way, nonprofit organizations and their directors.

Each new connection represents progress toward a more informed and responsive network of community support.

Our ongoing community engagement includes:

• Community networking: Participating in monthly meetings that bring together local organizations and service providers.

• Chamber involvement: Engaging with our local Chamber of Commerce and Nonprofit Council to strengthen community visibility and collaboration.

• Resource navigation: Cultivating relationships with knowledgeable community members and organizations to help identify resources for people experiencing the challenging transition of divorce.

• Community communication: Maintaining a monthly newsletter connecting nonprofit directors, case managers, social workers, clients, and community contacts.

• Referral development: Building connections with organizations and individuals who encounter people navigating divorce related challenges.

These activities are more than outreach efforts. They are part of our foundation for a stronger, more connected community response.

Progress Beyond the Numbers

As an emerging nonprofit, we recognize that meaningful impact is not measured by numbers alone.

It is also reflected in the relationships established, the awareness created, the referral pathways developed, and the growing ability to connect people with appropriate resources.

Our current service footprint is concentrated in compassion with our commitment being to thoughtful, sustainable growth extends beyond geographic boundaries.

We are working to strengthen our capacity, outcomes, and expand our reach responsibly as community needs and resources allow.

ScootAble's digital presence has recorded website activity from 19 countries and territories across 6 continents.

While this represents digital visibility rather than direct service delivery, it provides an encouraging opportunity to learn how people discover our work and engage with our mission.

Building What's Next

Our next chapter is focused on strengthening the foundation we have established: deepening community relationships, expanding resource connections, and developing sustainable funding.

We may be a new emerging organization but the needs we are addressing are complex and longstanding.

And every relationship built, every conversation started, and every opportunity to connect someone with support helps move our mission forward.
